Credits & Licences
QuizFu is built on other people's generous work. Here is what it uses, who made it, and under what licence.
Maps
World map

world.svg, derived from BlankMap-World.svg on Wikimedia Commons. - Author: Canuckguy and other Wikimedia Commons contributors (see the file history on Commons for the full list).
- Licence: Public domain — released by the copyright holder for any use, without conditions.
- Changes: per-shape
<title>elements are stripped at load time so browser tooltips don't give away quiz answers.
United States map

Neither licence requires attribution. We credit them anyway, because the people who drew these maps and put them in the public domain deserve it.
Font
- Nunito, designed by Vernon Adams and extended by Cyreal and Jacques Le Bailly.
- Licence: SIL Open Font License, version 1.1 — read the full licence.
- Changes: the copy served here is subset to the characters this site actually uses, so the download stays small. It is otherwise unmodified.

The site's code, quiz data, region groupings, text, and design are © QuizFu.

If any credit here is wrong or incomplete, please tell us at contact@quizfu.com and we will fix it.
The four-word codes
Restore codes are drawn from the BIP39 English word list, published with the Bitcoin Improvement Proposals and placed in the public domain. It was chosen because every word is short, unambiguous in speech, and distinguishable from every other by its first four letters — which is what lets QuizFu forgive a typo. Words unsuitable for a children's site were removed before use.
